The design

The challenge for our company was to make the practice underground, clean, welcoming, and integrating all the space the rest of the house and its magnificent outdoor garden. So we made the renovation of a basement garage, stair descent, bath, dry sauna, summer kitchen, and home theater.

On the Bathroom side

Comfort, the idea of a heated floor was immediately imposed. A powerful and quiet ventilation system was installed in the bathroom. Side aesthetics and durability, huge porcelain plates were arranged in a thin strip of strips. The use of porcelain deplaques 4 feet by 4 feet minimizes the numberof joints ceramic walls and floors. The vast cabin douchea designed with a linear drain and is provided with aesthetic nichestrès. Adjacent to the shower, dry sauna, formerly stuck is now better designed and cleared.

A little home automation

The owner wanted to intelligently control the various light sources, so we installed switches using Insteon technology that manages the affordable way to home automation and wireless. You can control all the lights via intelligent switches or via its equally smartphone.

This system also provides control, for better efficiency, heating, air conditioning, water heater, garage door, alarm system and if applicable, the pool and garden irrigation. As an entrepreneur, the challenge is also presented on another level: that of effective project management.

The design

Design and architecture side, the project was developed by seeking to loosen the furniture: a success across the board. Thanks to moving a wall a few inches to the guest bedroom. The car bearing axle bath with the door could be eliminated in favor of a bath installed at the back of the room. The old shower shell has been removed and the area was converted into a wide shower cubicle provided with a linear drain and very aesthetic niches. The glass wall EnduroShield received a treatment that acts as an anti dust treatment.

The inventory

 

The small cabin fiberglass shower was partitioned in a corner of the room. While bathing, too bulky, occupying an ideal space for large shower. The withdrawal of this shell was the first of a series of challenges that we have faced.

The impeccable design

Since no drain only served the future location of the bath, the main innovation has been to position the bath on a priority basis and the same coating to all floors. The ceramic wall restraint is distinguished by its elegance, durability, craft process, refined color palette and aesthetic diversity. A pioneering product which is arranged perfectly with walnut wood. In addition, the wall fittings, furnishings and accessories were carefully chosen: a classic and very refined look that fits well with the residence, style and tastes of our client.

A thorough redesign was necessary so that their bathroom fits their needs and tastes. This is the second project we perform for these clients. The previous draft had been to turn a solarium in one piece four seasons. This meeting proved to be a mutual thunderbolt.

"Kees and Yan are the proud owners of a condo a few huge 2500 square feet bordering the Mederic Martin Park close to the Frontenac metro station.

Lovers of art and design and having a good creative side, they wanted to reclaim their bathroom. The bathroom was designed a few years ago when transforming vocation of the building into condominiums."
